The staff at Mariani Reck Lane LLC contributes each pay period to the United Way of Southeastern Connecticut and the Firm matches their entire contribution. These funds are then provided to needy members of the community for food, clothing, heating, furniture, and other necessities. The United Way partners with other local organizations such as the Lawrence & Memorial Hospital, the Alliance for Living, the Thames Valley TVCCA, the American Red Cross, the Child & Family Agency, the Drop in Learning Center, Big Brothers, Big Sisters, and many more.
Mariani Reck Lane LLC is also a regular contributor to community events held by New London Main Street, the Hygienic Art Park and Gallery, the Eugene O’Neil Theater Center, the New London Rotary Club, Lawrence & Memorial Hospital events, the Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School, New London High School and others.

Attorney Linda L. Mariani is Secretary and Trustee of the Eugene O’Neil Theater, serves on the Board of Directors for Dime Bank, is Secretary of the Board of Directors for the New London Development Corp., is on the Advisory Board of the Salvation Army, is a member of the Film Commission of the City of New London, is an active member of the New London Rotary Club and is Chairperson for the Lawrence & Memorial fund drive.
Attorney Carla A. Barone currently serves as President-Elect of the Board of Directors for the Children’s Museum of Southeastern Connecticut. She participates in many fundraisers throughout the year to benefit the Children’s Museum, including Cow Plop Bingo and Trikes to Bikes each Fall. Attorney Barone also serves on the Board of Directors for the Hygienic Gallery and Art Park, supporting the arts community in New London. Attorney Barone volunteers her time on the steering committee for the Hygienic Halloween Bash each year.
Paralegal, Mari E. Jurczyk, is a Member of the Commission for Aging and serves on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Town of Montville. She was also recently nominated for Town Council in Montville and serves as an Allocations Panel Member volunteer for the United Way.
Bookkeeper/Office Manager, Selina A. James, is Treasurer for the Harbor School PTO, the Bennie Dover Jackson Middle School PTO, the Thames Aquatic Swim Team, and is a member of the Fundraising Committee for the New London Youth Football League.
